Personalised German courses

The École Suisse d’Allemand method offers different types of courses adapted to the level and needs of each student.

Standard course

This is a weekly German course with a teacher, in a small group of students of the same level (maximum 5 students per class). This is the most common learning method used in the École Suisse d’Allemand centres. It gives you the opportunity to make real progress at your own pace, to work on your own with online courses and activities and to encourage conversation in German between students. By following the standard German lessons with the method, you can expect to master the language in about 9 to 12 months.

Intensive courses

The intensive lessons are a more intensive study programme, with two lessons per week (with the possibility of up to three or four lessons per week depending on demand). Over a period of six months, these group courses and their online workshops prepare students with an increased emphasis on speaking. This intensive programme is best suited to preparing for German language certifications such as the Goethe exams.

Private and semi-private lessons

These 45-minute one-to-one lessons with a teacher give you the opportunity to prepare for a specific deadline (e.g. travel abroad, exams) in a short period of time. The individual lessons train you in various aspects of German, whether it is for business purposes, for integration into an international German-speaking school or to brush up on your school German. This offer is completely personalised and allows you to choose the number of weekly lessons you want and their timetable.

Online courses

If you can't or don't want to come to one of the existing schools, you can take your lessons online. Our teachers adapt to your schedule and you can master German whenever you want, wherever you want.
