German teacher

École Suisse d'Allemand is experiencing significant growth and is looking to hire several German teachers.

The ideal candidate has :

  • At least 2 years' experience teaching German as a foreign language
  • DaF, Goethe teaching certificate or Bachelor's/Master's degree in German as a foreign language (one is sufficient)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • comfortable with computers and smartboards
  • Familiarity with Zoom
  • Available at least 3 evenings from 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm
  • Available on Saturday mornings from 9:00 to 12:00 twice a month
  • Good knowledge of telc and Goethe exams

These positions are open to meet the high demand for private lessons and Blended Learning courses. Our school is expanding rapidly, and to meet this demand, we are looking to recruit teachers ready to take on a new and exciting challenge.

We offer an attractive salary and fixed working hours. We also encourage our staff to pursue language learning, and offer English and French language courses to our employees.

  • You speak French and English very well (B2 level or higher if you are not a native speaker of either language). A functional level of German is an advantage.
  • You are disciplined, motivated and like to be challenged and achieve clear goals.
  • You like the idea of being paid for your results.
  • You like the flexibility of your working hours and can work 2-3 evenings per week.
