The École Suisse d'Allemand method
The methodology implemented by the École Suisse d'Allemand consists of reproducing the learning techniques used for a mother tongue. It is a matter of listening attentively, before repeating and practicing. The knowledge of sounds is done first, followed by the study of grammar. There are four different ways of teaching.
Before your course with a teacher, you must follow lessons and exercises online. These teaching aids allow you to prepare each lesson, improve your pronunciation, enrich your vocabulary, and familiarize yourself with words, expressions, accents and grammar rules. Each online lesson ends with a series of exercises that will be corrected by your teacher before your "Austausch", i.e. your German course. The general courses are held in small groups of 2 to 5 students maximum. The teacher favours the speaking time of each student and corrects your accent. Finally, the Workshops are complementary courses on thematic subjects or offering an approach to a particular area (grammar, professional German, etc.).

The German language courses offered at each of our schools in Switzerland take various forms. For example, you can attend standard German courses in a group of 2 to 5 students. Here you can practice your understanding and speaking skills through a variety of activities, discussions and online teaching materials.
Intensive courses are also offered using the École Suisse d'Allemand method to make great progress in a short time. Flexible schedules are possible to make things easier for you. Private (or semi-private) courses can also be chosen to deepen certain notions. This is a good way to improve yourself quickly and perfect your skills in the areas of your choice. If you are unable to travel, most of the lessons can be followed online, with your teachers talking directly to you on Skype.
