Gain certificates in German
Like certificates for the German language, there are also recognised and often necessary certificates to attest your level of German. The main certificates are governed by the Goethe-Institut (cultural institute of the Federal Republic of Germany, whose role is to promote German culture abroad).
The main German certificates:
The "Goethe-Zertifikat B1" certificate is an internationally recognised certificate which attests level B1 according to the European Framework of Reference for Languages, CEFR. Can produce simple speech on topics which are familiar or of personal interest.
The "Goethe-Zertifikat B2" certificate is an internationally recognised certificate attesting to level B2 according to the CEFR. You are able to participate actively in discussions on subjects you know well by taking a position and defending your point of view.
