Depending on your level and your objectives, you will have no difficulty in finding the course that will enable you to improve your language skills in a short time.
German courses for every profile
At the École Suisse d’Allemand centres, a wide range of courses is available, with programmes for everyone.
Courses for children and teenagers
The ESA schools offer learning programmes for children and teenagers. These are interactive lessons that aim to give the youngest students confidence. There are three programmes, based on the discovery of the language (5 to 10 years), the reinforcement of German courses taken at school (11 to 14 years) and more advanced learning (15 to 17 years), which is recommended for people wishing to enter a foreign university.
Small group courses for adults
Adults who need to improve their language skills, especially for international work, can take standard German lessons. Written and oral expression is strengthened with online training programmes and regular conversations in small groups (maximum 5 students).
Private or semi-private tuition
Lessons are tailored to your needs. You can opt for semi-private lessons in a small group or for private lessons with a teacher. Both options can make it easier for you to speak and improve your skills in specific areas.
Online learning
It is not always possible to go to one of the language schools in Switzerland for training. However, a language programme can be followed with online courses where teachers interact with you via Skype. In this way, you can enjoy lessons at home, in the office or on the move.
General German or Business German
General German lessons are suitable for everyone, with a particular emphasis on speaking. Business-oriented lessons are also available for students and professionals. Business German is a professional asset and can be used to enter a prestigious university abroad. For companies, specific training programmes are available.
Intensive German courses
If you wish to follow more advanced training, intensive German courses are available. The École Suisse d’Allemand method is ideal for this type of training. Several hours per week, depending on your availability, will allow you to improve quickly. These programmes are recommended if you are planning to go abroad soon.
Exam preparation courses
The ESA schools offer preparation courses for the internationally recognised German language tests GOETHE and TELC B2. Each course starts with a free placement test and is followed by individual or small group lessons. The course lasts twelve weeks and consists of two hours per week to improve your written and oral comprehension. It includes registration for the exam.
Our language schools
The École Suisse d’Allemand centres welcome individuals and professionals throughout Switzerland. The ESA network currently has eight schools throughout Switzerland. You can learn German efficiently at one of the centres in Geneva, Lausanne, Fribourg, Lugano or Neuchâtel. In each of these language schools, the courses presented here can be taken throughout the year.
